There is talking amongst these people and it goes on for so long, one might forget that they were actually watching a horror movie. However, Fabian Forte has laced this film with a John Carpenter-like soundtrack, so there is always an embedded sense of foreboding.; ; Well, once the wheels are set in motion the two young men realize that they are victims of vampires and death isn't going to be easy to come by. There is torture, removal of body parts, and violence done in a way that isn't so much excessive as it is put out for human consumption. One could always turn away but that would take away almost all the fun of watching a movie like Carnal in the first place. This film is moody, deliberate and made by someone who obviously loves horror films and has a reverence for the genre.;
