To Trap a Spy (1964):; U.N.C.L.E. discovers that Thrush killer Andrew Vulcan plans to assassinate a visiting African leader, Premier Ashumen, while he's on a tour of Vulcan's factory. Napoleon Solo enlists the help of Vulcan's old girlfriend, Elaine May Donaldson, who pretends to be a rich widow and gets closer to Vulcan, trying to find out if her old friend really is the bad man that Solo says he is. At the same time, she also enjoys the life of luxury and wealth and finds it hard to accept that she has to go back to boring married life after the operation is over. The film is made from the first season episodes 'The Vulcan Affair' (09/22/64) and 'The Four Steps Affair' (02/22/65) from The Man From U.N.C.L.E.; ; 2. One of Our Spies Is Missing (1966):; Someone is using cats in experiments to develop a machine that can reverse the aging process, meanwhile a famous scientist (Dr Lancer) has gone missing, only for him to reappear looking 30 years younger. UNCLE agents Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin are sent to investigate the plot in Europe - Illya is sent to London to discover who is abducting cats while Solo travels to Paris where Dr Lancer's daughter is working as a fashion model. They uncover a plot by female members of the fashion business to develop the anti-aging machine for their own use, however the suave THRUSH agent Jordin has other plans. Thus a race begins between UNCLE and THRUSH to take control of the machine.; ; 3. One Spy Too Many (1966):; Megalomaniac Alexander wants to be like Alexander The Great. His plan is to commit the world's greatest crimes to expand his industrial empire. Every crime is specifically designed to contradict the ten commandments. U.N.C.L.E. goes after him when he steals a secret chemical from the US military. Solo and Kuryakin team up with Alexander's former wife, Tracey, to stop him from becoming the most powerful man in the world. This movie is made from the 'The Alexander The Greater Affair', parts one and two, from season two of The Man From U.N.C.L.E.; ; 4. The Spy with My Face (1965):; Thrush captures Napoleon Solo and replaces him with a look-alike to infiltrate U.N.C.L.E. and an operation called 'The August Affair'. While Solo is being held prisoner, Illya Kuryakin becomes suspicious by the unusual behavior of his friend, and slowly starts to realize what has happened. The real Solo must escape and stop his Thrush double before it's too late. This film is made up from 'The Double Affair' (11/17/64) and 'The Four Steps Affair' (02/22/65) from the first season of The Man From U.N.C.L.E.; ; 5. The Spy in the Green Hat (1967):; A 1967 feature length film version of The Man from U.N.C.L.E.’s third season two-part episode 'The Concrete Overcoat Affair.' The episodes were originally broadcast in the United States on November 25, 1966 and December 2, 1966 on NBC. It, as does the television series, stars Robert Vaughn and David McCallum. It is the fifth such feature film that used as its basis a reedited version of one or more episodes from the series. Unlike the four earlier feature movies, this film made only minimal changes to the episodes. The musical cues were essentially the same, and no major scenes were added or removed. What was changed was the addition of some short scenes that are more violent, sexy, and disturbing than generally shown on American network television at the time. For example, the deaths of Luger and von Kronen are shown longer and in more detail than on television. Pia Monteri is briefly shown in the film nude from the back, but on television that portion was edited out. And Miss Diketon has lines in the film that, as enthusiastically delivered by Janet Leigh, make clear the sensual pleasure she receives from both inflicting and receiving pain. Those lines were removed for the television version. The titular “Spy in the Green Hat” is Mr. Thaler of THRUSH, played by Will Kuluva. Kuluva had previously played the head of U.N.C.L.E. as Mr. Allison in the unaired pilot for the series. His character was replaced by Leo G. Carroll as Alexander Waverly.; ; 6. The Karate Killers (1967):; U.N.C.L.E. agents Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin travel around the globe in an effort to track down a secret formula that was divided into four parts and left by a dying scientist with his four daughters, all of whom live in different countries. Evil THRUSH agent Randolph also wants the formula, and is aided by his karate-chopping henchmen.; ; 7. The Helicopter Spies (1968):; A 1968 feature length film version of The Man from U.N.C.L.E.’s fourth (and final) season two-part episode 'The Prince of Darkness Affair.' The episodes were originally broadcast in the United States on October 2, 1967 and October 9, 1967 on NBC. It, as does the television series, stars Robert Vaughn and David McCallum. It is the seventh such feature film that used as its basis a reedited version of one or more episodes from the series.; The first four U.N.C.L.E. feature films made significant changes and additions to the episodes from which they were drawn. This movie, like the two immediately before it (“The Spy in the Green Hat” and “The Karate Killers”), makes relatively minimal changes to the episodes. No major scenes were added or removed, and very few trims were made to fit the episodes into the running time of the film. As with the prior movies, though, musical cues and accompanying music was sometimes changed. Also changed were two short scenes that became slightly more risqué than generally shown on American network television at the time (in both movie scenes a shirtless man is in Laurie Sebastian’s bed; in the TV version she is alone). Other minor changes included: a few changed camera angles, some enhanced higher-quality stock footage scenes of a rocket launch at the end, a little more physical contact between Sebastian and a female assistant, an insert of a swinging ax, and a very short scene missing from the television episode showing Solo slipping loose ropes that were binding him while escaping from a boat. When compared to the prior six films, though, this came the closest to simply showing the TV episode intact.; ; 8. How to Steal the World (1968):; U.N.C.L.E. agents Napoleon Solo (Robert Vaughn) and Illya Kuryakin (David McCallum) investigate when fellow agent Robert Kingsley (Barry Sullivan) and European general Maximilian Harmon (Leslie Nielsen) disappear. Shortly afterward, five of the world's top scientists are mysteriously abducted. The trail leads to the Himalayas, where Kingsley has set himself up as potential world dictator, hoping to use the combined talents of the scientists to build a device that will spread mind-controlling gas throughout the planet. However, his wife Margitta Kingsley (Eleanor Parker) has different plans for the gas.;
