It´s up to ex-Deputy U.S. Marshal Dolan (Peppard) to stop him, with Western stars John McIntire (Wagon Train, The Virginian) and Slim Pickens (Major Dundee, The Cowboys) on opposite sides of the brutal battle. Arnold Laven (Geronimo, Sam Whiskey) directed this hard-hitting sagebrush saga, co-written by Marvin H. Albert (Duel at Diablo), who adapted his novel The Man in Black with Sydney Boehm (The Savage, Sylvia).
